Dear Incoming Levine Middle College Students,

Welcome! Congratulations on your acceptance into the middle college program. We are excited to have such a talented group of incoming students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Levine Middle College High School is a Cooperative Innovative High School located on the Levine campus of Central Piedmont Community College. Levine opened in 2014 as the second middle college high school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, serving students in grades 11, 12, and 13.  Students at Levine Middle College High School will complete their high school graduation requirements while taking Central Piedmont Community College courses toward an associate degree or career/industry certification. All Central Piedmont Community College courses, books, and fees are free for our students. The mission of Levine Middle College High School is "to maximize academic achievement for every student in a high school and college environment."

Levine Middle College High School students consistently exceed local, state, and national average scores on the ACT, Advanced Placement exams, and SAT. An average of 70 students per year earn an associate degree through Central Piedmont Community College.

Students are reminded that to remain eligible for the middle college program, unweighted GPAs must remain above 2.79. We are looking forward to working with you as you successfully navigate this next chapter of your academic career!

Sincerely,

Brian Bambauer
