I love to read books from my favorite authors- Eric Carle, Tomie DePaola, Frank Asch, Ezra Jack Keats, Jan Brett, Leo Lionni, Bill Martin Jr., Shel Silverstein, and Dr. Seuss. During the year, I like to help students find authors they like and have author studies and Book talks. It's so much fun to share and read our stories to each other.
Two of my favorite books I love to read to my class are
Have you filled a bucket today? by Carol McCloud ,How full is your bucket? by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer. and The Energy Bus for Kids by Jon Gordon.
I hope you get a chance to read them with your family!
Read these three books to see how you can "Be a Bucket Filler!" and "stay positive and overcome challenges!"
Here is a wonderful site for you and your child to find and read books from a wonderful storybook collection. https://www.storylineonline.net/
My favorite teacher books are : Mindset- the new psychology of success by Carol Dweck, A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink, The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon, and I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai.
