My name is Douglas Mayo-Tapp. I teach Health and Physical Education and coach football at Hopewell High. I was born in Durham, North Carolina, raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am a former defensive back for East Carolina University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in School Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Interdisciplinary Studies. An interesting fact about me is that I am the second oldest of seven children. I have one brother and five sisters. When I'm not busy with teaching or coaching football I enjoy cooking, watching Netflix and outdoor activities.
