Welcome to my page. My name is Sharletta Battle. At Hopewell, I teach Required Health and Physical Education and Honors Health and Physical Education. I have 16 years of teaching and coaching experience.

I grew up in Kinston, NC and graduated from North Lenoir High School. At North Lenoir, I was a varsity softball player. After high school, I attended East Carolina University and received my Bachelors degree in in Recreation Therapy. I worked as a recreation therapist for a year but then decided I wanted to teach and coach. After my first year of teaching, I returned to school to gain licensure to teach Health and Physical Education. In 2010, I attended ECU again to earn a Masters degree in Health Education.
