Within Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), junior and senior students who attend Garinger high have the opportunity to be dual enrolled students during their high school academic career. The Career & College Promise dual enrollment program allows for all eligible North Carolina high school students (high school juniors and seniors with an unweighted GPA of 2.8 or better) to get an early start at earning official college course credit towards a two-year or four-year college degree at Central Piedmont Community College. TUITION FREE!

Dual Enrollment College Transfer pathway - Four different pathways designed to meet your general educational educational requirements for a four-year college degree.
Dual Enrollment Career and Technical Pathway - Over fifty different pathways designed to help you get a jump start into a great career. You can earn college credit towards a job credential, certificate, or diploma in a technical career.
