GARINGER CLUB INFORMATION
Garinger high school offers over 30 school club organizations, which develop students leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. These personal attributes contribute to developing creative and strategic solutions to real world problems, preparing our students to be productive world citizens in an ever changing real working environment.
WHY JOIN A CLUB?
Students have the opportunity of be surrounding with like-minded individuals who are united by a common interest in service for a specific goal. Garinger's student club organizations will provide social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development while reducing destructive behaviors, promoting physical health, and providing a safe and secure environment for our students to thrive in.
DO'S AND DONT'S
When looking at potential clubs to join focus on these key points when making your decision:
Do join a club because you're interested in their mission and goals.
Do join a club to enhance your leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Do join a club to create a path for what you might want to do in your professional life.
Do join a club to demonstrate your initiative and willingness to serve your community.
Don't join a club and not be active in it.
Don't over commit yourself to too many clubs at once.
Don't disrespect clubs that you are not apart of.
Don't represent your club(s) negatively.
