Read
Read with your student. We try to give our students as much time as possible during class to read, but sometimes out-of-class reading has to be assigned. It can be tough for students to focus on their reading after school, so we would appreciate any help that you can give your student when we can't be there to guide them.
Discuss
In our classes, we discuss many different topics that relate to what's happening in our real society. We do as much as we can to encourage our students to use what they've learned in class in their own lives. For this reason, we also encourage you to have discussions with your student about the topics that we study in class.
Monitor & Reach Out
Monitor your student's Canvas and their grades in PowerSchool. We update grades often, so your student's grades can change quickly. Please keep an eye on your student's grades and reach out to their teacher if you have any questions or concerns. We are happy to help! (:
