Graduation is right around the corner! Here are important points to remember regarding graduation
1. Graduation Rehearsal will be MONDAY JUNE 6TH from 4pm to 5:30pm. It is mandatory for ALL SENIORS PARTICIPATING in the graduation ceremony. Please arrive at Bojangles Coliseum to meet your Homeroom Teacher no later than 3:45pm. IF YOU DO NOT ARRIVE ON TIME AND DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN REHEARSAL, YOU WILL NOT WALK. NO EXCEPTIONS. 2. Jostens orders have been delivered. If you were absent the day that deliveries occurred, please pick your order up in the Main Office before or after school. If you have a question about your cap and gown, please reach directly out to our Jostens representative, Mr. Chris Gaither at chris.gaither@jostens.com
3. As of right now, there are no restrictions to the amount of guests students can bring or processes for tickets. Seats will be first come first serve. If this policy is updated by the district, communication will be sent out.
4. Mr. Bill Allen will be calling out names at Graduation. Please fill out this google form to ensure that Mr. Allen correctly pronounces your name at graduation https://forms.gle/zxQ64qmdo8hrjDBYA
5. Seniors must return Chromebooks and pay all outstanding fines prior to graduation rehearsal. Failure to comply will jeopardize your ability to participate in graduation. Chromebook turn in will be held from 8am-1pm on May 27 and May 31st . Chromebooks must have a power cord and not be broken. The Chromebook return station will be set up in the Media Center.
Lastly, Seniors, please make sure you are attending homeroom EVERY Monday to receive important updates and information. Any graduation questions can be answered by visiting this website: bit.ly/emgrad22 . Read through all the information carefully to ensure you are following all protocols and district expectations regarding graduation.
Please take attendance on this google sheet. Use the tab for your homeroom and put a P (present) or A (absent) under the column for homeroom today.

Please submit any students in your homeroom that have disabilities to Mrs. Bauer by emailing her the student name (ex: hearing impaired and interpreter needed, assisting in crossing stage, wheelchair etc)
Please ask prospective graduates if they have any family member that is hearing impaired and requires an interpreter

The report time for actual graduation on June 16th has not been set. The ceremony is going to start promptly at 12pm. Students can expect to report to Bojangles Coliseum about an 1.5 before the start time but that has not been announced by CMS yet.
Students who ordered their Cap and Gown Units by the 2/1 deadline will be able to pick these up at their lunches on April 6th and April 7th. The pick up table will be in the auditorium lobby. Students who have not ordered their Cap and Gown Units need to contact Jostens directly. Please direct them to the Cap and Gown portion of the website.

Remind students that our graduation date changed and will be June 16th at 12pm. Tell students that graduation rehearsal is mandatory and failure to attend will result in not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students can anticipate graduation rehearsal being sometime in early June. Mrs. Bauer has a district graduation meeting on 2/22 so information regarding tickets and rehearsal time should be shared then.
Have students who did not go through the 1st round of names checks, sign off on their name. Mrs. Bauer put your homeroom name list in the orange graduation folder and delivered it to you. Please return this to Mrs. Bauer's box in the main office by EOD Wednesday 1/26.
Remind students of the deadline for Cap and Gown orders (2/1/2022). Please have them reference the cap and gown order portion of this website if they have any questions.
