JUNE DRESS CODE
As of March 2022, graduates are not required to wear a mask. This is subjected to change based on evolving guidance surrounding COVID-19.
The graduation floor and stage will be set-up over ice so dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes.
Seniors are required to wear appropriate caps and gowns to participate in the graduation ceremony. All
seniors, when robed in their caps and gowns, should adhere to the following attire guidelines:
Graduates must dress appropriately for graduation: dresses, skirts, dress pants, shirts with ties, and dress shoes. Tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops, clogs, blue jeans, and shorts are not appropriate dress. Anyone who is not dressed appropriately will be pulled from the line and will not participate in the ceremony.
Caps and gowns are not to be altered and must be worn as purchased. No decorations or wording should be added to the cap or gown.
Students may only wear approved cords, stoles, tassels, and pin
All caps are to be worn with the tassel to the right until the seniors are declared graduates.
The following items are not to be worn or carried by graduates:
sunglasses
headphones, IPODS, Blue Tooth earpieces
head scarves (except for religious purposes)
cell phones, cameras, purses
Appropriate behavior is expected from graduates during the Processional, Ceremony, and Recessional. Graduates who toss their caps at the conclusion of the ceremony will not be allowed to come back in the arena to retrieve their caps.
