The purpose of the New ML Teacher Academy is to prepare new ML teachers for success in the classroom. Topics include: curriculum resources, effective instruction for MLs, language growth as demonstrated by the Authentic Linguistic Formative Assessment tool, ML language and content assessment data including DIBELS, MAP, and MVPA, and classroom management strategies.
