If you feel that your student is well above grade level in math, taking the Math Placement Screener is an option for you. We offer one course of accelerated math placement to 7th graders: Math 1. In order to take Accelerated Math Courses as 7th grader, many data points are considered as part of a scoring rubric: formal math average, Math iReady Score, EOG results, Math Placement Screener Score, etc. We expect students to have high marks in all categories to demonstrate they are ready for Accelerated Math as a 7th grader.
