The following calculators are NOT permitted:

• Calculators with a CAS system such as the Ti-Nspire interface

• Calculators with a QWERTY keyboard

• Calculators with integral capabilities such as the TI-89 (and above)

*If you would like to skip the purchase of the scientific calculator and purchase the graphing initially, this is acceptable. Please be aware there is a significant price difference. If your child tends to misplace or lose things, we recommend the scientific for school and the graphing for home.

If your student has a different scientific or graphing calculator (Casio), please verify that it is acceptable for EOG/EOC use with his/her teacher.

Please let your students counselor know if purchasing a calculator is not a financial option for you at this time.

Also, note while the online graphing calculator, desmos, will be utilized in class and allowed during some testing, students will also learn how to do all things on their calculator as the SAT/ACT and similar tests do not currently support online graphing calculators.
