Carmel's school counselors, school psychologist, & school social worker are here to help you navigate your way through middle school. We know it can be tough! We will advocate for you and give you the tools you need to be successful in school and to plan for your future.
Your school counselors, school psychologist, and school social worker will keep things between you and her/him/them unless you or someone else is at risk of being harmed or you agree to tell someone else like an administrator, teacher, or your parent(s).

Grief due to the loss of a loved one
Friendships - making friends, keeping friends, "drama" with friends
Peer Pressure - knowing how to set and keep healthy boundaries
Anger - learning how to understand your emotions and react to things appropriately
Sadness - a general sense of sadness or something happened that makes you feel sad a lot
Conflict - learning how to get along better with others and communicate more effectively
Safety - finding healthy, positive coping skills that help you get through tough times
