We are scholars – always looking for new information and exercising our brains to the fullest capacity!
My name is Lucy Beaube. Since 2008, I have loved teaching here in the Horizons program in multiple grade levels. In 2019 I jumped into my role as the LI/TD Magnet Coordinator, primarily supporting 3rd-5th grades and working with Ms. Goodnight to support all of our Parker scholars and families. I am a proud ECU Pirate. There I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in music because I am passionate about incorporating and providing access to the arts for all students. I have a Master's degree in gifted education and I am a strong advocate for meeting the needs of the whole child while providing fun learning experiences. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood and helping my students learn and grow is the highlight of my days. Outside of school I enjoy going on adventures with my husband Jake and two daughters, Matilda and Juliet.
