Welcome to the Reading Rumble Book Club! This book club will read six exciting books this year (pictured below) and meet monthly to discuss them! While book club members will not compete in the district competition, they will still have the opportunity to read great books, meet with friends over lunch to discuss them and purchase a Reading Rumble t-shirt later in the school year! I will send out more information in the spring about the how to pay the $15 fee that covers the shirt.
It is up to families how you'd like to go about getting the book titles. You can purchase them on Amazon, in Barnes and Noble, or check them out from the local library! Whatever works best for your family.
Please help your child to pace their reading so that they can have each book completed by the date listed on the table below. I'd recommend approximately 50 pages per week as a general rule of thumb and they won't be in a panic at the last minute. Please note that some of these books are shorter than others.
Looking forward to a great year of Book Club!
