The Cadre wishes to thank the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections, GenerationNation, and Cadre members Ms. Roop, Ms. Raval, Mr. Wainaina, and support staff Ms. Daniels and Ms. Mayorga for their support. It all started with an idea, inspired by Ms. Hawk, ARMS Individuals and Societies (Social Studies) Educator and Cadre member. The IB has a strong commitment to developing students’ citizenship. Students need civic knowledge and skills to embrace their civic rights and responsibilities, recognizing their common humanity and to help create a better and more peaceful world. Scholars had an opportunity, if they wanted to, to vote for a president and vice presidential candidate. A ballot was provided, with true to life anonymous voting. Results will be tabulated and revealed November 1, days prior to Election Day; Election Day is on November 5th, 2024. Polls will be open from 6:30am - 7:30pm on that day. Early voting is currently going on and ends November 2. ALL eligible ARMS community members are encouraged to exercise their right to VOTE in this critical election.
