Chromebook Maintenance

Every day:

1. Shut Down the Chromebook:
   (CTRL-SHIFT QQ)

2. Unplug the Chromebook from the charger. Do not keep the Chromebook plugged into the charger all the time.

Once a week:

1. Check for Chrome OS Updates:
   Settings - About Chrome
   Click Check for Updates

2. Clear Cache & Cookies: (helpful when you can't log in to NCEdCloud)
   Settings - Privacy & Security
   Click Clear Browsing Data
   Choose ALL Time
   Choose Cookies and Cached Images and Files (uncheck anything else)
   Click Clear Data

3. Sync Chrome: (may help when the Chromebook randomly shuts down)
   Go to https://chrome.google.com/sync
   Click the blue button Reset Sync (may have to scroll down a bit to see it)
   Log out of Chromebook, then log back on.
   *You may have to agree to the User Agreement again.*
