Policies and Procedures

Classroom Procedures:

• Enter the classroom silently ready to work, pull out your interactive notebooks and all needed classroom materials, and place book bags (with cell phones inside powered off) on the back of seats.

• Place any missing assignments, class work, homework or class work inside corresponding folder on the assignment table. Assignments should have name (first and last), date, and class period in right hand corner.

• Sit in assigned seat and begin working on the “Bell Ringer” on the board. Please hold all questions until the bell ringer has been reviewed.

• Students will be escorted to the restroom as a class. *Bathroom use will not be admitted 15 mins after the bell or 15 mins before the bell.

• Remain on task during the entire class focused on social studies assignments only always try your best.

Discipline Policy for Ms. Jackson Classroom:

1. Warning

2. Student Conference- One on One-Speaking with student to see if we can resolve the issue

3. Parent Contact (through the best form of communication contact email or phone)

4. Office Referral

**Based on the severity of the behavior exhibited, Ms. Jackson reserves the right to issue consequences in any order.
