Study History. Know History. Make History.
Class Overview
In history, we discuss the revolutions of nations that have catapulted history. We focus on how human rights catalyze people and nations to be the change they want to see exemplified in their governments. Even though we discuss the history of the past we always find the parallels in the world in which we live today. History always repeats itself.
Scholars use code to review revolutions with computer programming students at University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Scholars use Legos for a computational thinking lesson.
I am Ms. Jackson, I LOVE teaching Social Studies. I believe education is the essential building block of unlocking life for all it can be and I get to experience the power of the investment.
All students should know that they can not only think outside the box but they can create the box.
I hold a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and a M.Ed from Winthrop University. I also have my Early Childhood Credentials from Central Piedmont Community College.
