My name is Mrs. Rodriguez and I am so excited to be back at Olde Providence as your 3rd grade teacher. My goal this year is to build a positive relationship with you and your child while creating a productive classroom community. I am dedicated to making this year a great year of learning ! 

As we anticipate the beginning of the school year, I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. This is my fifth year in education. I am originally from New York where I completed my bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Education. In 2016, I moved to Puerto Rico where my family is from and taught English as a second language for a few years. During this time, I met my husband and later moved to North Carolina in June of 2022. Last year, I became part of the OP community as a guest teacher and am SUPER excited to continue being part of this amazing community this year. 

When I am not teaching I enjoy learning to bake and cook new things.  I also enjoying listening to podcast and reading. Having quiet quality time with a book in a comfortable space is my favorite hobby.
