Hello students and families!   

My name is Casey Delgado and I am very excited to be a third grade teacher at Olde Providence. More importantly, I am excited to be your third grade teacher! It’s going to be a great year filled with learning, building relationships and growing.  Summer is almost over and I am excited to get this year started.  We will make this a great school year!

As we anticipate the beginning of the school year, I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.   This is my thirteenth year teaching third grade in CMS and this will be my fourth year at OP.  I am thrilled to be at such an amazing school that is rooted in community. I have lived in Charlotte for 14 years and truly love it here.  I am originally from New Jersey and earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. I married my best friend in March, 2020.  My husband Joe and I have one daughter, Raelyn who will turn 2 in February!  

When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my husband, daughter, friends and family!  Other hobbies of mine include Amazon shopping,  camping, home design and listening to music and podcasts.

This year my goal is to develop a positive relationship with you and your child as we build a positive classroom community.  I am very confident that we will have an amazing school year!
