Depending on the quantum of work involved, a student will carry out one, two or three mini projects in a semester.
Total duration allotted for mini projects is 18 man days (Effort: 6 man-days/student/semester)
Three reviews will be conducted for each semester. The first review is done by the project guide. The second review is carried out by the faculty allotted by the Head of department. The third and final review is done by the review panel formed for the purpose. The best mini-project will be identified by the committee consisting of HoD, DRC and senior professors.
There will be a presentation by student team. The scientific principles involved in the working and the technology applied will be explained by the student.
Student batch will prepare a mini-project report in soft-copy format and submit to the project guide.
The performance in the mini-project is linked to the Internal Assessment Marks (Assignment)
Awards are given for the identified best mini projects.
An exhibition of mini projects is arranged at the end of the semester for staff, students and parents.
