CENTER FOR STUDIES ON NEW INDIA

VISION

The CMRU Center for Studies on New India envisions a ‘self-reliant’, developed and resilient New India and aspires to contribute meaningfully towards successful achievement of this dream in through relevant research in welcoming these winds of change. The time is ripe for us to realise that, in a new resurgent India, the need of the hour is to emphasise on development while at the same time striving to retain the ethos of our divine culture.

MISSION

  • The center seeks to study the post-colonial impact on Indian culture, society and governance and to give life to new reflections that were not thought of and visualised during and immediately after the British rule.

  • The center will address the need for change in light of the above and recognise possible ways of engaging in course correction.

  • The center will strive to engage with the people and educate society about the benefits and positive effects of good governance and administration.

  • The center will conduct comprehensive research into the means and methods of achieving meaningful change in this modern fast changing world.
