ABOUT
The CMR University School of Legal Studies has established the Center for Studies on New India with a view to study and contribute to a ‘self-reliant’, developed and resilient New India. The Center seeks to engage in meaningful work towards achievement of this noble cause. As a part of CMR University the center will undertake to pioneer crucial research and allied activity including publication of books, monographs, videos and other such material with the ultimate objective of reaching people at the grassroot level. The center seeks to emphasise the need to engage in developmental activity without losing the great advantage accrued to us through the ethos of our ancient culture.
OBJECTIVES
To generate keen interest in the general public through insightful publications using unpretentious language. The center seeks to further reach all sections of society through all popular mediums like videos, monographs, pamphlets and the like, so as to reach people at the grassroot level.
To organise collaborative programmes with institutions of similar stature.
To invite eminent scholars from different domains in order to build an ongoing narrative on development and progress.
To conduct and organize field studies seeking to engage with the common man at the grassroot level in an effort at understanding the people’s perspective.
