Professional Development Points (PDPs)
The state of Tennessee requires educators to earn PDPs each year for licensure advancement or renewal. In CMCSS, teachers working a 200 day calendar are required to earn a minimum of 18 hours of in-service each year.
Teachers who are hired after the start of the school year and work less than a 200 day contract have a prorated in-service amount.
