The post-high school planning process begins even before a student enters Crete-Monee High School. We believe that career and college exploration should be embedded throughout their educational journey. For nearly 64% of our students, college is part of that plan and the counseling staff will work with students each year on age-appropriate activities to help accomplish that goal.
Below is the Senior Year Planning Guide. It provides useful information to students and parents regarding the process from beginning to end. This includes information on things to think about when choosing a college, what colleges to look for, entrance exams, campus visits/interviews, financial aid, and important websites for additional information. If you need further information, please contact your school counselor. You can click on the handbook to open it in a separate window for easier viewing. Please also refer to the subsections for reference material and key points to know about the college search and college application process.
