Our counseling team works throughout the year to develop a comfortable working relationship with both students and their parents. We work alongside parents, teachers, and administrators on issues related to learning styles, emotional needs, and behavior.

✦ Plan for postsecondary options (higher education, military, trade/apprenticeship, work force)

Student Personal/Social, Academic, and Career and College needs
Lessons include how to handle homework, understanding how class selection and career choices relate, and picking the best plan after high school.

✦ Planning and organizing programs and special events such as Financial Aid night and College and Career Fairs
Students are able to schedule a meeting at any time during the school year to discuss their academic, personal/social, or academic concerns. They can stop into the Counseling Office before or after school or during passing periods and speak with the School Counselor Secretary to schedule an appointment. Students may also request an appointment by email. Parents may request to see their child's counselor by calling the School Counseling office at (708) 367-8280 to make an appointment.
