What is the FFA?

The National FFA Organization is the largest student organization in the United States with chapters in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico as well. While FFA stands for Future Farmers of America, this organization is all about developing leaders, creating agriculturally literate citizens and helping students explore agriculturally related career opportunities. FFA is unique in that it is an INTRA-curricular activity. This means that it is ingrained in the agriculture courses students take so class activities support organization involvement and vice-versa. Due to this integration, only students enrolled in an agriculture course are eligible for membership in the FFA. More information about the FFA on a national scale can be found on the website here!
