However, if you are unable to attend your work placement because you are sick or have a family emergency, please follow the below procedures....
You need to COMMUNICATE this to all parties immediately:
Phone (do not text or email) your workplace contact, or course provider, before your usual start time. Explain why you are not able to attend and you may offer to work another day that week. If no one answers, please leave a message.
Text Mrs Lowe, Gateway Coordinator on 021 910 531 and advise the reason for your absence. Mrs Lowe will aim to arrange another day with the employer for you to attend.
Follow normal school absence procedure. Parents/Guardians need to use the PCSchool App or PCSchool Parent Portal to explain your absence.
