My name is Shanda Sellar and I am so excited to be filling in as the grade three teacher in 3C! Teaching is my passion and I knew from a very young age that this was my calling. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2011. I have been working in the school system over the past two years and am thrilled to be your child’s teacher! This year may look and feel a bit different, but my goal is to make students feel safe and excited to learn! I thought you may wish to know a little bit more about me…

I live in West Royalty with my husband, Tyler, and our three children Paige, Logan and Olivia. My children also attend West Royalty Elementary and are in grades four and one.

When my children were small, I took some time away from teaching and ran a home daycare. I then worked in Social Programs for a couple of years until I knew the timing was right to go back to teaching. I have been a regular substitute at West Royalty Elementary and worked last year at St. Jean Elementary teaching a grade 2/3 split class.
