Hi everyone,

My name is Julie Rogerson.  This is my 24th year teaching and my 23rd year at Sherwood School.  A little background on my education, I completed school in French Immersion  from grade 1-12.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree  with a major in Psychology and a minor in History  as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from UPEI.  I have just recently completed a Masters in Education from MSVU in May of 2023 .  Before entering the BED program I spent several  summers speaking French as a student working at the daycare Ile Enchantée.   I have taught grade one and grade two over my 24 years as a teacher. 

I live in Harrington, PE.  I have a husband, 2 children and a cat name Winnie.   My son Ewan is in Holland College taking Electrical and  my daughter Abby is in her 4th year at St.FX University in Antigonish, NS.   

I love animals, music, going for walks , bike rides, yoga, camping and spending time with my family and friends.

I'm very excited about starting a new school year teaching your child!
