The International Baccalaureate(IB) Programme at Colonel Gray

Information about the IB at Colonel Gray: Any current grade ten student wishing to learn more about the IB Programme is welcome to attend an information session at lunch next Thursday, February 24 in room 213. Feel free to bring your lunch. All are welcome.

Parent/Student Information Evening: There will be an information session on the IB Programme for parents and students (currently in grade ten and wishing to be part of the IB programme in grade 11) on Wednesday, March 23 at 7 PM.

Sample Writing: please note: Due to the cancellation of school on March 29, the writing sample activity will now take place on Wednesday, April 6 at 3:15 If you wish to be considered for the pre-IB or the IB programme next year, please come to write an 'on demand' piece of writing, a requirement for admission, in our cafeteria after school on March 29, 2022. Bring a writing utensil. You will be given a topic to write about when you arrive and you have a maximum of one hour to complete this task. Parents/Students whose primary language is not English: There will be an information session with interpreters present in our school cafeteria on Thursday, April 7 from 7:00-8:30 pm. Interpreters will be present.

Out of zone students: Students should apply to the IB school in which they are zoned. If the student is out of zone, they need to complete an out of zone transfer form. The PSB will determine the status of the transfer and the placement of the student.
