This 20 min presentation will provide a brief overview of the newly launched SLP Google site with a wide range of tier one strategies and suggestions that can be used when working with students who have communication difficulties in the areas of speech, language, stuttering and AAC. You must be logged into your cloud.edu.pe.ca account in order to access this site.

A) Your Life Design Educational Professions, Take Care: Prioritizing Self-Care for Helpers, Self Reflection & Application Workbook, Jill Stewart (30-45 min)
This session will dive deeper into the presentation given on November 7th, by Jill Stewart, Founder of Your Life Design: Educational Professions, Take Care: Prioritizing Self-Care for Helpers. Jill and her team have provided CUPE 3260 with the slides from her presentation and a printable/digital workbook for each member to use to apply her presentation personally. Members can take some time to go through and review the slides (linked below). They can then use the workbook (linked below) to reflect and answer questions. What you will need: either the printed version of the workbook or, if using the digital format, a pen and paper to write down your reflections/ answers.

B) Fundations: Appropriate Use for Students on Individualized Programs, Anne Inman
This 30-minute session will address the use of Fundations as part of individualized programming for students who are assigned EA support. Specific topics will include: an overview of the Fundations program, using materials provided by the classroom teacher to target individualized goals and objectives, activity procedures, and demo videos.
