Daily Homework

Your spelling list will be given to you on Mondays. Practice spelling these words for a few minutes every day. You will have a test every other Friday.

Everyone in the class is expected to read for 20 minutes each night. You should choose reading material that interests you. You should read both fiction and non-fiction. Practice the skills you are learning in class. Tell family and friends what you think about the books you read. On your homework sheet, record the name of your book and the page number on which you finish. Keep reading the same book until you are finished.

At the end of the year, you will look through your homework sheets and choose one of the books you read to make a book report.
