January 4-8

Happy New Year! I hope that all enjoyed time with family and friends over the holidays. It is lovely to see some snow at last! I'll bet everyone is outside today enjoying it today! I am looking forward to seeing the children tomorrow. This week we will settle back into our classroom routine. If you have any books at home, please return them tomorrow.

Please ensure your child is dressed for outside play each day. A spare pair of socks and mitts would be important to send each day.

Spellings: first, why, each, none, twelve

Math Focus: Review of mental math strategies covered

Writing: We will begin our unit on Narrative Writing

Music: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Library: Monday
