Discipline policy
Below you will find the following: The PBSIS WWMS Schoolwide Expectations, information on the Clifton Middle School Discipline Point System, the Clifton District Middle School Discipline Matrix as well as the Spring Activity Eligibility.
Above all we expect you to be Ambitious, Empathetic, and Respectful individuals to yourself, your peers, and the staff at Woodrow Wilson Middle School.
Below is the Clifton District Middle School Discipline Matrix.
*All consequences assigned can be amended at the discretion of the building administrator and in compliance with BOE Policy.*
Central Detention - 30 Minute Detention from 2:50-3:20pm
1 HOUR - 1 Hour Detention from 2:50-3:50pm
Saturday Detention - 2 Hour Detention on Saturdays from 9:30am-11:30am. Saturday Detentions take place at Christopher Columbus Middle School.
BR- Behavior Reassignment is an In School Suspension.
OSS - Out of School Suspension
Middle School Spring Activity Eligibility
The Spring brings a host of different fun and exciting activities for our students which includes Field Trips, Team Days, Dances, 8th Grade Events (Farewell Dance, Award Ceremonies, Who’s Who and Breakfast). Students who do not follow the Middle School Code of conduct after April 1, 2024 will not be permitted to attend these events. This includes student who receive any of the following:
A student who receives an Out-of-School Suspension
A student who receives 2 or more Saturday Detentions or Behavior Re-Assignments
A student who misses a scheduled Saturday Detention
A student who receives 10 Tardies to School
A student removed from NJSLA State Testing or interferes with State Testing
A student who has received 15 or more Disciplinary Points
*The school administration will make the final decision regarding eligibility to attend these activities.
