Virtual Calming Room

This virtual calming room is a space for staff, students and their families to use whenever they would like some resources, support, and strategies for managing challenging emotions.

Self care is any activity that we do for our physical, mental, and emotional health. Self care is important because it nurtures the relationship we have with ourselves. Self care is anything you do for yourself that makes you feel good, relaxed and refreshed. People often overlook taking care of themselves because they are focused on taking care of others. However, we cannot take care of others, if we don’t take care of ourselves.
