Episode 5 - Tuesday 28 May
FROM INSIDE THE DORM
I hope you all had a lovely half term catching up on all the antics of boarding!
On Saturday, the girl’s hockey fixtures were all at TWC and the boys against SCC at school; some wins, some losses but in the end the children had fun.
The junior children had some down time in afternoon, literally sprawled out on the lawn, while the Gr 6+7s did some studying.
The four square ‘court’ buzzed with energy as the children took each other on in spirited matches. Cheers and laughter echoed as everyone dove into the fun. The excitement didn’t stop there – an intense game of touch rugby was played with the children revelling in the chance to play alongside the enthusiastic interns. Hockey, tennis and dodgeball in the Indoor Centre. A movie evening was enjoyed.
Sunday was a day to relax… play and dance! The senior children had another study session.

Looking ahead to next term and to serve as an early reminder –
The Closed Weekend, which was originally scheduled for the first weekend of T3, Friday, 26th to Sunday, 21st July has been rescheduled for Friday 23rd to Sunday, 25th August (the weekend after half term) to accommodate the annual boarding x-factor weekend for potential boarders (a ‘sample’ weekend to entice would-be boarders by immersing them in the experience of our weekend activities and the Clifton way of life).
Kind regards
The Boarding Crew
