Math Resources and Activities
The guides below are meant to be used as study guides for the NJSLA - Math test. They are based on the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and are all you need to know to move on from those respective grades.
IXL is to be used for extra practice. Make sure you read the explanations provided if you get a question wrong! The login code is your four digit student number followed by @cliffsidepark, ex. "1234@cliffsidepark"
The default password is student123, unless it has been changed by the student.
Super Mario Quadratics (Advanced)
This is a website with a cool gamification of quadratic equations. You are Super Mario and you have to rescue Princess Peach, who has been kidnapped by the evil Bowser. To do so, you must modify and even create quadratic equations to make Mario jump over chasms and collect coins. Great practice for anyone looking to sharpen their graphing skills!
Garden Ratio Practice (6th Grade Level)
This game is a fun and interactive version of the classic garden problem, but applied to ratios and proportions.
