If you have internet access, you can access your Google account. Try to use Google Chrome as your browser, as the Google products work best with Chrome.
To access Google Classroom, go to classroom.google.com . If you want to use any of the other products available in the Google Suite, click on the 'waffle' - this is the 3x3 grid of squares that you can see on the top right at Google.com. When you click on it, you will see icons for the applications that you may need to use to find, and complete, your work.

This is where we will share teaching videos, worksheets and explanations. This is also where you will find the work that you have been set. Finally, it is how you will send your work back to your teacher and how your teacher will give you feedback on that work.
This is a Word Processor, a bit like Microsoft Word. If you have been asked to type something up, you will need to use Google Docs.
This is Google's version of PowerPoint. However, teachers can also use it for activities that might need you to move text and pictures around.
This is Google's equivalent to Zoom - if the class are sent home, we can use this to meet the rest of the class virtually. In school, we use this for our virtual assemblies.
This is your online storage - think of it like your USB stick. All your work is saved here, and it will automatically save, too. So if you start some work at school, you will be able to continue at home.
Below are videos of how you can log in and find your work using your laptop or PC.
Go to classroom.google.com, or click on the 'waffle' and select the classroom icon.
If you haven't already done so, log in using your @cliddesdenprimary.net account and password.
The first time that you do this, you should see the name of the classroom (e.g. Willow Year 1) with an option to Join or decline. Click Join. Next time, you should just see that classroom button.
Click on the button and you will see a page with three options at the top: Stream, Classwork and People. Go to Classwork to find your work.
Login and go to classroom.google.com
Click on 'Classwork' at the top
Look at the list and find the correct week. Underneath that week you should see the tasks and any helpful work or videos.
Click on 'view assignment' to see the full details of the task.
You may need to ‘submit’ or ‘turn in’ the work.
If you need to ask your teacher a question, try to use the 'Private Comment' box - only you and your teacher can see this comment.
