Google built the Android system, so Google classroom and the other apps in the Google Suite should all work really well. On your mobile device, you may find it easier to have the following apps downloaded .

This is where we will share teaching videos, worksheets and explanations. This is also where you will find the work that you have been set. Finally, it is how you will send your work back to your teacher and how your teacher will give you feedback on that work.
This is a Word Processor, a bit like Microsoft Word. If you have been asked to type something up, you will need to use Google Docs.
This is Google's version of PowerPoint. However, teachers can also use it for activities that might need you to move text and pictures around.
This is Google's equivalent to Zoom - if the class are sent home, we can use this to meet the rest of the class virtually. In school, we use this for our virtual assemblies.
This is your online storage - think of it like your USB stick. All your work is saved here, and it will automatically save, too. So if you start some work at school, you will be able to continue at home.

You may need to add the account first. This is usually easiest done by going into the settings and adding a Google account (this is the child’s email address ending in @cliddesdenprimary.net). You may be asked to accept the conditions and also reset the password.
Once the account is added, then install the following from the Play Store:

Google Docs
Google Meet
Google Slides
Then go into Google Classroom and ensure you are selecting the right account. You may need to select ‘I’m a student’.
Login and go to the classroom tab
Find the correct week or day
See each task – some are just instructions, others require a response! Click on 'view assignment' to see the full details of the task.
