Graduation Cords/Medallions, Stole Criteria


Latin Honors- gold stole

Mrs. Froehlich

Weighted GPAs for 4.1 or higher.


Advanced Placement- old gold, black, and white cord

Mrs. Kates

Take 5 or more AP courses and have a final grade of A or B


Advanced Placement Scholar- white cord

Mrs. Kates & Mrs. Froehlich

Score 3 or higher on 3 or more AP exams by junior year. (Scores from senior year are not available by graduation).


National Honor Society- blue and gold cord

Dr. Pellegrin

Maintain a 4.0 weighted GPA, complete 10 hours of service and partciapte in the NHS chapter service project (no more than 10 hours).


Beta Club- solid gold cord

Mrs. Huskey

Maintain 4.0 weighted GPA or higher, maintain acceptable behavior at school, and turn in documentation for at least 10 community service hours each year of membership.


French Honor Society- blue, white, and red cord

Mrs. Lacroix

Take French 3 or 4, have an overall B average, earn an A in each level of French, and be enrolled in French senior year.


National Spanish Honor Society- red and gold cord

Mrs. Reiff

Take Spanish 1 through 4 and receive an A average in each class.


National Art Honor Society- multi-colored cord

Enrolled in Honors Art with an A avg.


International Thespian Society- interwoven blue and gold cord

Tri M Music Honor Society- pink cord

Mr. Hohne

Maintain a 3.0 overall GPA, maintain a 4.0 music course GPA. Enrolled in a performing ensemble 4 years. Be a Tri M Member in good standing (complete service hours, good behavior, pay Tri M dues).



Career and Technical Education Honor Society- purple and white cord

Mr. Froehlich

Seniors with CTE Concentrator, at least 4 total CTE classes, and WGPA of a least 3.5 plus dues.


WorkKeys Certification- bronze, silver, gold, black and bronze cord

Mr. Froehlich

Achieve National Career Readiness Certification based on lowest score in 3 ACT WorkKeys tested areas: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents.


Future Business Leaders of America- royal blue, white, and bright gold cord

FBLA Senior Officers and Senior Members with 2 or more years and 10 documented hours of service each year.
