History
The Foundation was organized in 1986 by the Cleveland County Board of Education as a non-profit corporation to solicit contributions for specific projects of the school system.
Dr. George Litton, a former coach, school principal, and school board member, served as president (for as long as we can remember) until Jamey Davis took over in 2022. Dr. Litton is not a President Emeritus with the Foundation.
