The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Batter(ASVAB) assessment is given at Shelby High School each semester. This assessment is a FREE Career Assessment tool for military and non-military occupations alike. Upon completion, students are provided an interpretation of their scores.
The ASVAB tests are designed to measure aptitudes in four domains: Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial.
Students in grades 10-12 are able to take to assessment. The ASVAB may be taken more than once and scores are good for up to two years if a student is considering enlisting.
