Summer Electrical Academy
June 8 - July 29
This eight-week program gives students the opportunity to complete two college-level courses (ELC 113 - Residential Wiring and ELC 117 Motors and Controls) while exploring careers in Electrical Systems.
What makes this academy unique is that students will receive a $2,000 stipend for completion.
Juniors and Seniors
Atrium Hype Summer Academy
Weekly Rotations: Shadow health care professionals to experience a “Day in the Profession” across different roles.
Facility Placement: Be assigned to one facility for the duration of the program (availability of departments may vary).
Interactive Learning: Take part in weekly professional development sessions, simulations, hands-on activities and volunteer opportunities.
June 15 - July 18
Students receive $2,250 stipend for missed summer work.

PATCH is a pathway program for high school students from underrepresented backgrounds that provides exposure to various health professions. The program is a collaboration with Atrium Health Medical Education, Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Workforce Development.
