To reserve a table, we ask for a deposit of £10 per person
We do this to ensure that we can accommodate everyone in our limited, evolving space. We regularly turn walk-ins away in favour of reservations.
In order to secure a reservation, we require a £10 per person returnable desposit to be paid either in person or via a link, before the booking is confirmed.
Generally, deposits are taken off of the bill (or they can be refunded if preferred) dependent on the number of people that are present.
Adjustments to the booking may be made up to 24 hours before a reservation by messaging the WhatsApp booking number or calling 07362 587768.
If you want to change the number of people less than 24 hours in advance
Any change that results in fewer people attending less than 24 hours in advance, will result in the retention of the deposit for the absent person/people. For clarity, if 8 people book and 6 people arrive, then £60 would be refunded and £20 retained.
However, if a reservation is adjusted less than 24 hours in advance, we will do our best to accommodate it within the limits of the confined space we have. If we are able to accommodate the change, we will refund the deposit accordingly. If we are unable to accommodate the change (and by this we mean physically within the confines of the tables and chairs we have), we will not refund the absent people.
If you are running late, please call us
If you do not call us, and choose to send a text or WhatsApp instead, we cannot guarantee that we will see these mid service. If after 29 minutes of the original booking time you do not arrive, and we have not recieved a call, we reserve the right remove your reservation and retain your deposit.
If you want to cancel a reservation within 24 hours
Simply, we will need to retain your deposit.
Moving a reservation to a different date within 24 hours
As mentioned, we will accommodate people as best we can, however moving reservations is at our discretion based on availability.
Private Events
For private hire events we may charge differently according to the special conditions of the bookings. If food is brought into the venue (i.e. not supplied by us) then we charge a £50 clean up fee which includes disposal and recycling post event. This will all be discussed and a separate private hire agreement created.
