There have been changes to our participating plans as of January 1, 2026.
IN-NETWORK STATUS
We are currently in-network with traditional (red white and blue) Medicare
OUT-OF-NETWORK STATUS
We are not in-network with Medicare Advantage/Replacement Plans.
We do not participate in Medicaid or commercial Medicaid plans.
Many commercial insurers no longer contract with small medical practices.
If you have a commercial insurance (either primary or secondary) please check with them directly regarding network status. We do not verify or certify our network status with any payer other than traditional Medicare.
If the status of a commercial insurance is unclear, we recommend you proceed as if we are OUT OF NETWORK, to ensure that you are aware of any financial risk.
If we are in-network with your Medicare primary, but out of network with your secondary/supplemental plan, you may be responsible for 20% co-insurance for Medicare-covered services, plus any applicable annual Medicare deductible. Again, you must check directly with your secondary payer or supplemental plan to clarify your exact responsibility.
OUT OF NETWORK OPTIONS
Patients who are out-of-network, or without insurance can be seen at a self-pay rate. We strive to give all our patients the highest quality neurological care. Our charges are based on the time and attention we devote to each patient. Our visits are usually more complex that a primary care visit, and can take longer. We recommend you check our reviews on Google.
We charge $400 for a new patient visit, and $250 for follow-up visits. For patient wishing to pre-pay their self-pay initial visit at the time of scheduling (reducing our administrative burden and no-show risk), we offer a $75 one-time prompt pay discount (initial visit only). Please ask for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling any self-pay visit or procedure.
Some patients with out-of-network benefits may be able to get reimbursed by their insurance. You can ask your insurance about the process and the amount. We will give you a printed superbill (payment receipt with diagnosis and service codes) and you can submit to get reimbursed. We do not submit charges to insurers and plans with whom we do not have a contract. By simplifying our billing processes, we can devote more resources to patient care.
FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS
We have partnered with CareCredit (a third-party lender) to offer flexible payment terms including 6 month interest-free options. Click here to learn more.
