To promote the conservation and improvement of natural surroundings in Mount Maunganui
To significantly improve the air quality in the Mount Maunganui Area
Black Dust: Particulate Matter pollution from sources such as fertilisers, palm kernel, coal, shipping/trucking and asphalt emissions.
Industrial Stenches / Odours: both toxic and non-toxic
Methyl Bromide and other fumigant used at the Port of Tauranga and within the District generally
The cumulative effect of long-term exposure to chemicals and pollutants in our air an into our waterways.
