"Carnations"
Kira Wong-Tracey, Grade 12
This piece is supposed to represent an uncanny version of flower language that isn't always represented. Carnations usually equate to passion or adoration while this one takes on a darker theme. The background is made of red tissues, and I used a mixture of paint and paint pens to fill in the details.
"Acrylic Automobile"
Lily Gold, Grade 12
This is my acrylic automobile project I made in Mrs. Potts art 2 class. I made it with acrylic paints and a canvas. I found a photo of a Volkswagen Bug online and printed it out to use as my reference photo. I started with a rough sketch of the car in a light green. I slowly blocked in colors for the car and did the lighting last.
