On behalf of the South Carolina State University Atlanta Alumni Chapter, I am reaching out to invite students from your school to participate in our 2026 SCSU Youth Day Bus Trip to South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The trip will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and is designed to give high school students an opportunity to experience an HBCU campus, learn more about South Carolina State University, and enjoy the traditions and excitement of SCSU Youth Day.

During the visit, students will have the opportunity to participate in a college tour, experience the renowned Marching 101, attend the SCSU Bulldogs vs. The Citadel football game, and engage in the overall HBCU campus experience.

Trip Information:

• Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026

• Cost: $85* per student - *Cash App includes a fee (cost per student $87.36, Zelle has no additional fees)

• Deposit: $45 beginning August 28

• Remaining/Final Payment Due: September 20

• Includes: Round-trip transportation from the Atlanta area, football game admission, college tour, Marching 101 experience, meals, snacks, and more.

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this opportunity with students and families at your school, particularly students who may be interested in attending an HBCU or who would benefit from additional college exposure.

Our goal is not simply to take students to a football game. We want them to see themselves on a college campus, experience HBCU culture firsthand, and recognize higher education as an attainable option for their future.

Space is limited, and registration will be accepted until available seats are filled.

I have included our Youth Day flyer and registration information for you to distribute through your counseling office, college and career center, student newsletters, parent communications, or other appropriate school channels.
